Lunch at the Chef’s Table – The Nelly

We went to try out the Chef’s table last Friday at the Mount Nelson and if anyone is thinking of doing something awesome with their crew,  I suggest a date with the chef at the Nelly!  It’s something different and interesting, with each course being served with accompanying glass of of wine and explanation of how why it had been selected.

You are in the middle of the hustle and bustle that goes with the famous kitchen, so you get to see all the food being prepared with vigorous fashion. The main braised beef brisket was cooked in water at 56 degrees for the day (which is surely like being cooked in a Jacuzzi?). You can only imagine how full we felt afterwards…
