Perhaps we should all quit our jobs, wear kaftans and pick cherries all day. I’m in! Who’s with me?
It’s harvesting time for cherries all around Ménerbes and we picked so many, they started to go vrot! The trick in keeping them around for longer is to freeze a few on a tray. The others we hadn’t already eaten found themselves at the bottom of our champagne glasses and I also made cherry vitamin water which was a hit!
The yellow worked nicely in and amongst the green and red cherry orchard. I have one more of these fabulous kaftans from India left as I bought one for myself for the trip – shop here..
