Ralph Lauren threw a party for Wendy Goodman’s new book on Gloria Vanderbilt.

For those of you who don’t know who Gloria Vanderbilt is, she is the lady who stamped her brand name on very, very tight designer jeans in the eighties. Her branded jeans were up there alongside Calvin Klein and Armani and anybody who was somebody had to own a pair. She was born an heiress to a 5 million dollar trust fund. Married four times, her son as seen below is Anderson Cooper who is a very charming CNN reporter. She has also been lucky enough to have her name used in eight fragrances for L’Oreal!
