There is nothing quite so delicious as a good stylish suit. Yes, it’s back to work girls and what better way to get inspired than to think of Ally McBeal. I think one of the reason’s I wanted to become a career girl in fashion was watching McBeal prance around in a sexy suits all day.
There are so many ways to wear a suit and look sexy:

The Short skirt suit – very cool and ladylike – not too short though, we don’t want to draw to much attention to get ahead

The suit jacket comes in many forms, the most essential to have in your wardrobe is to have a fitted one – this will now be mixed and matched with everything.

It’s nice to have another colourway if you can – Stella McCartney reinvented the grey suit and I love it! I bought one from Zara and it has been an absolute treat having it! Country Road has, and also updates their grey suit every season. They make it so easy for us!

Another style of a tailored jacket is also key – either the boyfriend or the riders jacket – both are great! These can be teamed up with dresses, pants, jeans or even shorts.

Different styled plain coloured pants are very important, the Palazzo pants……a must.

The Harem, high waisted or Capri…

Bright coloured pants make it not so boring and are great for Summer.

Some Neutrals too!

The straight leg and 7/8 length is fab! Worn with sandals or heels, very quaint and elegant! Love the bow tie added in to the mix.

The Skinny still looks fab and funky, I wear mine often with a suit jacket.

The “I am wearing my boyfiends suit” is cool.

The suit with tapered pants – if you are having a fat day these are perfect, especially after the holidays.

A pair of suit pants with out the jacket – yes, yes and yes

A 3 piece suit with man shoes – a lady to be reckoned with!

A suit with a pair of old converse sneakers – I do this often

True Ally McBeal style – Go Mariam – (My fabulous laywer fashionista friend)

The suit with shorts –

Last but not least a great pair of kitten pointy heels, your wardrobe cannot go without a pair!
