Dubai -Little India

I have to back track a little, I did not get time to write a little more of my trip in Dubai! If you have time to get away form the main financial district which is known as New Dubai – which by the way is a bit like Las Vegas and Robo Cop City in the middle of a desert! Very strange as there are so few people to fill the City so its kind of perfect – no traffic hour! The electric train which runs almost all through out the city is always partially empty! Oh and there is starbucks on every corner!!!

Old Dubai is where the fabric and spice markets still exist! They are truly amazing to visit! Streets are packed day and night and everyone is trading! The Textile market is called Karama (also known as Little India) – the most beautiful pashmina scarves can be found here! It is better to go in the evening when it is cooler – the heat can reach almost 42 degrees during the day!
