So as you can see from my street pics the weekend was spent in Jo’burg at the Westcliff – what an amazing hotel! I was told by Lize Kay and a few twitter fashionistas that the best place for short-notice easy shopping was Parkhurst 4th Avenue. The instructions were to start at the Mug & Bean and walk! Unfortunately by the time I got my shit together it was 4pm and the shops were closed – a little to many tequilas from the night before ;-(
I will most definitely make a turn there the next time I go “up-country”!
That only left us with a quick free transfer offered to us from the hotel to Sandton City. I only had an hour to spare while the boys watched the rugga!
Sandton was hectic to say the least – like a Canal Walk on a Saturday morning. I did however get a few really great items.
