I have recently discovered that Jacques van der Watt is one of the founders of the new Market on Main in Joburg which is very similar to Cape Town’s Biscuit Mill.
‘Market on Main’ an initiative of Jacques van der Watt and Bradley Kirschenbaum of Black Coffee and Love Jozi designs respectively, as supported by ‘Arts on Main‘ and Canteen & Main Street Life in Johannesburg. This initiative aims at making a metropolis out of Arts on Main where food lovers, food critics, culinary experts can come together and make the most of it whilst supporting regional development.
